Story
I've known about diabetes my entire life but it wasn't until I was diagnosed with Type 2 in May 2021 that I truly understood the impacts of this disease.
My daily routine now includes medication, insulin injections, food logging and blood glucose testing.
But the biggest difference was how my energy level has decreased. I no longer have the energy I used to and find I can only exercise for a short period of time before feeling physically drained.
Diabetes NSW/ACT is a great organisation that provide a wealth of knowledge on how to live with and manage Diabetes.
So please donate anything you can afford.
